Yellow Cedar: 8x8 and 10x10 reclaimed yellow cedar beams

This lovely wood is being processed as we speak!  We have had this 1x material weathering for some time now... it has a lovely silver surface on one side.  This will likely be sold in a hurry, since it takes so long to make more... let us know if you have any questions about it!

Many people are looking for the antique patina of weathered barn boards;  so we are beginning to manufacture some tongue & groove boards with the aged & weathered surface retained:

This is solid wood, regularly sized (6" wide) for easy application, with a rough, antique surface.  Its a brand new product, so availability will be limited while we build up our stock, but if this is what you are looking for, give us a call!

Beams, cut from logs used for log booms on the West Coast of British Columbia.

Large, kiln dried timbers, 14x14 - 16x18.

This just in from the yard:  we have just completed milling a few thousand board feet of 8" wide flooring!  So for those of you looking for wider flooring, it is now available.  Contact us for more information.

 6" wide Cottage Grade Flooring:

This is our most popular variety of reclaimed tongue and groove flooring.  It is cut from reclaimed Douglas fir gluelam beams, and contains the occasional small nail hole or gluelam line.  It is 3/4" thick and 6" wide on the face (6 1/4 with the tongue).  It is not end matched, and the lengths of each piece vary from 3' to 10'.

We just acquired a large quantity of good quality timber from a recent demolition:

When the wood first arrives at our mill site the surface usually looks fairly aged/weatherbeaten:

For our customers who want a fresh, clean finish, we can mill the wood to make it look new again, or we can leave the marks and signs of age for a more antique look.  In order to make best use of the wood, most of the wood we mill still has a few nail holes and some natural checking, which only adds to it's character:

We have a new mailing address!!! Our yard address hasn't changed;  we haven't moved, but we are in the process of moving our office onto our yard site, so our mail will now come to:

PO Box 93 Stn Whonnock
Maple Ridge, BC  V2W 1V9

The Global Buyer's Mission in Whistler each September is a focused trade show for BC Wood products, as well as a great networking opportunity for designers and producers...  I think one of our WRT staff just might have turned up in last year's highlights video!

WRT contributed some weathered antique wood to the IDS West Bottega VIP Lounge this year... designed by Andrea McLean and built by Lock & Mortice Build Co, it was a great example of how reclaimed material can be used as-is to create a lovely space.

We're at the West Coast Women's Show again this year!  Stop by booth #375 and say hello!
